What is it?

Upbeat & uplifting this class is designed to make you feel glorious inside and out! Based on an authentic Barre class fused with a functional movement approach, it’s low impact, full body workout. Inspired by the Lotte Berk method and set to a playlist, it combines elements from Yoga, Pilates, dance conditioning, and strength endurance training. It’s an intelligent workout that will center your mind, mobilise your joints, empower your soul, lift your spirits and leave you feeling glorious, graceful & strong!

We incorporate small props, light hand weights & stretchy bands to add external load and resistance to work arms, thighs, seat and abdominals. Bodyweight is used, precise isometric movements, holds and pulses that target muscles and mobile the body. You’ll discover moving just an inch is all it takes to feel the shake and the burn!

Hands on adjustments are given through out class to ensure you’re working in your best form and so that you are safely getting the most out of each exercise. 

Who is it suitable for?

Beginners are always welcome. There’s a variation for all levels in class, from the first time barre goer to the most advanced student. Modifications can be taken at any time and extra challenges will be given to ensure you’re working at your fullest potential.  

If you’re looking for an empowering workout that’s intelligently paced, mindfully constructed and with a great playlist, come and try a class! As with starting anything new your first class will likely feel challenging and we’ll encourage you to stick with it. Come with an open mind and willingness to try something new!

This class is aimed at adults (18+) with a reasonable level of fitness.

Develop the grace to stand taller and to become stronger in both body and mind. You’ll get a great class without putting excessive stress on your joints. This method will help you develop bone density, work muscles, improve balance and increase your mobility and strength.

More than ever before we need to find on outlet in our life to focus on our wellbeing, body and mind. Taking part in a mindful movement practice like barre will have effects in life outside the studio such as increased mood, better concentration, relaxation and posture.

What do I wear?

General workout clothing that you are comfortable in (i.e yoga leggings and a top). Please wear grippy socks if you have them. Bring a bottle of water.

How much?

£10 pay-as-you-go. A 10 class pass is £90 (£9 per class/ valid for 4 months)  Please reserve your place in the class via the booking system as numbers are limited.


NEW! TUESDAY 7.20 - 8.15pm

SATURDAY 8.25 - 9.20am AND 9.30 - 10.25am.

Classes are 55mins. Classes start and finish promptly.

Please don’t enter the studio more than 5 mins late as you need to join in the warm up to work safely in class.

If it’s your first class please arrive at least 10 -15mins early so the instructor can chat to you and learn about your body. The teacher will ask you if you have any injuries/movement limitations. Please inform the teacher as special modifications will be given to you.

How do I book?


By using the booking system, you can reserve a spot in the class you want to attend according to your own diary up to two months ahead.

Spaces in classes are limited to ensure everyone has space at the Barre and the teacher can assist everyone.

This was my first ever Barre class, and my first time exercising in a very long time after having a baby, so I was really nervous...!! Thankfully, Victoria is a true professional - she’s clearly very knowledgable and immediately put me at ease. You can take the class at your own pace and intensity, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and you leave feeling like you’ve had a thorough workout. I’ve only been to four classes so far, but I already feel fitter and more confident. Thank you Victoria!!

The technique is focused and precise, working on mindful alignment and repetition to the point where you certainly feel the burn, but without it ever becoming gruelling!
Victoria leads with a great balance of expectation and positive encouragement and an upbeat sense of fun in both her manner and playlist.
I come away feeling that my whole body is awake and strengthened and after just a few weeks I can feel the difference in tone and posture that this practice can make.

From the first session I was absolutely hooked! Barre is a great way to tone and build strength and Victoria is a fabulous teacher-explaining each movement in detail and I love it when a teacher comes around the class to help each person with positioning. Having the class on a Saturday morning is a great way to wake up your body ready for the weekend. I totally recommend the class and can’t wait for the next one!
