SlowFlow - gentle movement fitness

What is it?
SlowFlow is a new gentle Movement-to-Music Fitness and Well-Being class incorporating a flowing fusion of t’ai chi, yoga, pilates, breath and relaxation elements, taught by two friendly and clinically informed instructors.

Who?
Suitable for a wide range of independently active participants, aged 16 – 100 (and beyond!)
Particularly suitable for you, if any of the following apply:

  • You are frustrated you can no longer do some of the things you used to be able to do.

  • You want to discover how to enjoy becoming more active again.

  • You want to maintain or increase your flexibility and mobility.

  • You are in rehabilitation from injury or illness (consent from health practitioner may be required).

  • You can’t balance as well as you used to or are starting to struggle with stairs.

  • You can’t find an ‘exercise class’ that suits yo

Why?

  • Feel supported & meet people who have felt similar frustrations to you

  • Improve your flexibility, mobility, balance, core and leg strength, over all health & well-being.

  • Receive expert advice to suit your individual situation & 1:1 attention if you need it

  • Find more freedom in your movement so you can feel more comfortable, competent and confident in everyday life.

 

What to wear?
Loose or stretchy comfortable/fitness clothes that allow you to move freely. This is a barefoot class. Mats, blankets, bolsters or other props can be provided, or you may wish to bring your own.
Please bring drinking water.

How much?
Try before you buy: Your first class is always FREE to give you a chance to see if you like it (and us!).
CLICK HERE TO BOOK  Subsequent classes are bought in the form of a 10 Class Pass at £80 (£8 per class) with each card lasting for 3 months to provide the following benefits:

  • It allows you to make a commitment to the class to support your personal motivation

  • It provides the flexibility to come as regularly as you like (up to 2 classes per week available)

  • It incorporates the opportunity to take necessary time out (on holiday, if unwell, for family commitments etc.) when you need to.

When?
Tuesdays 12.45pm - 1.45pm
Fridays 1.45pm – 2.45pm
 
We ask you to arrive in time for a prompt start. Please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than start time for your first class so we can introduce ourselves, get to know you a little, plus we have a requirement for you to fill out a short form prior to participating in our classes.
