Tina's introduction to teaching yoga was in Costa Rica in June 2013 when she completed her Yoga Alliance 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Hatha Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Andrea Klunder and Lauren Znacko. She lived and studied at the yoga farm: an eco yoga project in sustainable permaculture. She feels truly honored to have trained in such a stunningly organic place. It was here, that she believes she truly discovered how good our bodies and mind are supposed to feel. She is very much inspired by nature, organic pattern and our evolutionary and embryological unfolding.
Curious and ready to delve deeper into new means of inquiry using the art of yoga, she completed her 200 hour Embodied Flow Teacher Training in Bali in December 2015, studying under Tara Judelle and Scott Lyons. Embodied flow draws on Body-Mind Centering and somatic psychotherapy, and science to delve into the on going exploration into consciousness. Weaving traditional yoga philosophy and knowledge, with what we know in the 21st century, provides even more means to explore the expansion of consciousness and awareness. This ultimately allows us to find a deep sense of ease, strength and connectivity in the 21st century human form.
Her flow classes are dynamic, explorative and playful. She aims to provide a healthy balance of fun, vitality and challenge with relaxation, healing and bliss.
